Kelly has developed, researched, written, and taught several multi-session spiritual formation series' --both for her blog, her online community, and her local church parish.
As of 2023, she is now taking inquiries from churches and other groups who are interested in having Kelly either develop and teach new content, or (adapt for your context and) teach one of the series' below.
Women of Valor is an eight-session* Spiritual Formation series looking at various women in Scripture, particularly at how God partners with women to accomplish God's purposes -- against the biblical backdrop of patriarchal contexts, oppression, poverty, infertility, grief, injustice, and misogyny. The thesis, which shows up throughout each of the biblical texts and stories explored herein, is: partnership — not patriarchy — is how the Kingdom of God manifests and moves forward.
*Standard outline includes 8 specific sessions; more are written & available to choose from if more are needed, and session number can also be reduced according to host's needs.
Invitations of Jesus is a seven-week spiritual formation series which surveys the gospels thematically, presenting seven overall themes with three sub-themes under each one. Focusing on the teachings of Jesus, this series re-orients participants to Jesus’ words on the terms of invitation, in place of “commands” or “rules” or “law”. This series also has an embodiment element to each session, wherein participants are guided through an exercise which seeks to engage their full selves (somatic/ soul/spirit) in the new framework of invitation.
Kelly has several already-prepared single-session spiritual formation classes on multiple topics from unpacking various scriptures to singleness in the Church to grief & grief recovery and more. She is also open to requests for a specific passage or topic as requested by the event host.
